This 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 is finished in Plum Crazy over Black Alcantara and Laguna leather and was optioned with Lacks Enterprises 18″ front and 17″ rear carbon-fiber wheels as well as the Premium and Rear Seat Delete groups, Demonic Red seatbelts, and Satin Black hood, roof, and decklid graphics. The supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi High-Output V8 produces up to 1,025 horsepower and 945 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels via a TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Other equipment includes Air-Catcher HID headlights, an Air-Grabber hood, flared quarter panels, Harman Kardon audio, heated and ventilated seats, and Brembo brakes. Recently acquired by the selling dealer, a BaT Local Partner, this SRT Demon 170 has 102 miles and is now offered in New Jersey with a digital copy of the window sticker, the owner’s manual, two keys, and a Virginia title.
Dodge released seven different Last Call special editions for the 2023 model year to celebrate the end of production of the Charger and Challenger, and the Demon 170 was the final special edition variant. This example is #2,310 of approximately 3,300 examples built for the model year, and it is finished in Plum Crazy (PHD) with optional Satin Black graphics on the roof, decklid, and Air-Grabber hood. Other exterior details include a front splitter that has retained its yellow scuff guards as well as Air-Catcher HID headlights, flared rear quarter panels, and an SRT Performance rear spoiler with an integrated rearview camera.
Optional Lacks Enterprises 18″ front and 17″ rear carbon-fiber wheels added $11,495 to the MSRP, and they are mounted with Mickey Thompson tires. Stopping power is provided by black four-piston Brembo calipers with yellow SRT lettering over ventilated discs. The Demon 170 is equipped with an edition-specific Drag Mode suspension with adaptive-damping shocks as well as launch control, a line lock, and a revised transbrake.
The heated and ventilated seats are upholstered in Black Alcantara and Laguna leather, and carbon-fiber trim accents the dashboard and center console. The cockpit is further appointed with an 18-speaker Harman Kardon sound system with a subwoofer as well as a power-adjustable driver’s seat, Demonic Red seatbelts, and UConnect infotainment with navigation, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay. Demon 170 models left the factory with a reduced amount of sound-deadening materials compared to the standard Challenger.

Shift paddles are affixed to the rear of the Alcantara-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, which frames a red 220-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and a 7″ configurable digital display. The digital odometer indicates 102 miles.
The 6.2-liter Hemi High-Output V8 is equipped with a 3.0-liter supercharger with a 3.02″ pulley and a 105mm throttle body in addition to revised fueling system components, Nitride-coated intake valves, copper-lead bearings, and upgraded cylinder head studs when compared to the previous Demon model. The horsepower rating adjusts automatically based on the ethanol percentage in the fuel, and output ranges from 900 horsepower and 810 lb-ft of torque with conventional E10 fuel to 1,025 horsepower and 945 lb-ft of torque when using E85. The engine is also equipped with an SRT Power Chiller, which utilizes the air conditioning refrigerant to cool the air entering the intake ports.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission and a 3.09:1 limited-slip differential with a strengthened housing and a 240mm ring gear. The Demon 170 also features an improved rear prop shaft and 43-spline rear half shafts.
